Trip the Light Fantastic is a Same Sex Dance Group based in Oakland,
CA, dedicated to creating and maintaining a fun and exciting dance
environment for the LGBTQ community for the last 11 years.
Join our popular Mailing List to keep on track with everything related to

The outrageously popular Fresh Meat Festival returns with the
nation’s hottest, freshest, boldest transgender and queer artists
performing hip hop, taiko, ballroom, theater, modern dance, live
music and much more!
This year’s Festival features a powerhouse lineup: Zoe Balfour
and Citabria Phillips, the Barbary Coast Cloggers, Ryka Aoki de la
Cruz, Deadlee, D’Lo, Mind Over Matter, StormMiguel Florez, Sean
Dorsey Dance, Taiko Ren and Shawna Virago.
The Fresh Meat Festival is the only festival of its kind in North
America, celebrated for its powerful, joyful, deeply moving
performances. Due to audience demand, Fresh Meat returns
again this year to big, beautiful Project Artaud Theater. Don't miss
this Best of San Francisco award-winning performance! These

- June 20th - Pride Ball at BAY AREA SAME-SEX SOCIAL
BALLROOM - Same-Sex Social Ballroom Nights at Allegro
Ballroom at Emeryville. This is a monthly same-sex social dance
event including lessons and hours of fun social dancing. Includes
special initiatives for welcoming newcomers, finding dance
partners and making connections within the community. THIS
EVENT WELCOMES NEWCOMERS TO BALLROOM! No partner or
experience necessary.
